Shift Leader SSP Luleå Airport

We are now looking for someone who enjoys leading and being a role model for employees in daily operations. We are seeking a full-time shift leader for our team at SSP Luleå Airport!

SSP Luleå Airport is a fun and developing workplace. Our various departments include Cornelius Coffee, Craft n’ Draft, Kiosk, Catering, and production. At an airport, you meet many different people and the tasks are varied, which means our days are never boring.

About the position

With us, you will work in an engaged team and together we deliver good food in a welcoming and family-like atmosphere. The work involves various tasks in a restaurant kitchen. As a shift leader, you are expected to motivate and encourage your employees to reach our goals for service, sales, and quality during your shift. Your tasks therefore involve keeping your team motivated through a coaching and proactive leadership style. You assist the restaurant manager regarding goals for service, sales, and quality for our departments. You work in the operations alongside your employees whom you lead during your shift.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a cheerful demeanor who can work both independently and in a team. You enjoy leading and motivating others and you are a role model for both colleagues and managers. You thrive in a restaurant environment and enjoy providing service to our guests.

To succeed in this role, you are used to working in a changing pace and you have a focus on service. You are someone who takes initiative and personal responsibility for your tasks. You have good collaboration skills and communicating with guests, colleagues, and managers is no problem for you. Furthermore, being organized is a given for you. The work is physically demanding and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Requirements

• You have at least 1 year of documented work experience in a leadership role.
• To work at an airport, an individual security clearance is required, which means you must have a clean criminal record.
• You have relevant work experience, and it is a significant advantage if you have worked in a similar role before, such as a shift leader or equivalent.
• You speak and read Swedish fluently.
• You are at least 20 years old as we serve alcohol and you may be responsible for serving (according to the Alcohol Act 2010:1622 Chapter 8, Section 18).

Additional info

Our opening hours follow the airport's hours, which means working early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. You need to be able to commute to and from work during these times.

SSP is a member of VISITA and has a collective agreement with HRF.
